The monument connecting these images is the Agra fort which was a site of one of the battles during the Indian rebellion of 1857, which caused the end of the British East India Company's rule in India, and led to a century of direct rule of India by Britain.
The Agra Fort plays a key role in the Sherlock Holmes mystery The Sign of Four, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

3. Brihadeswara Temple: The first Temple in the world made out of granite is the Brihadeswara Temple at Tanjavur, Tamil NaduIndia. The shikhara of the temple is made from a single 80-tonne piece of granite. The temple was built in just five years (1004–1009), during the reign of Rajaraja Chola.

4. The first image is of Qutub Minar and the second is of Firuz Shah Tughlaq.The fifth and the last storey was constructed by Firuz Shah Tughlaq.
